Baby Gear We Are Loving On Amazon Right Now
Products for 3-4 Month Old Babies
Our sweet baby girl is almost 4 months old, and I cannot believe how fast she is growing. Let me tell you, being a mom is hard work. My baby is extremely active and does not like to just hang out. She has to be constantly entertained, she also does not enjoy napping for long periods of time. We are lucky to get a 45 minutes nap.
With that being said, I am always looking for activities and toys for her (and cute outfits) to keep her entertained and assist with her growth and development. Getting to the store with a 3-month-old is not always easier, nor is it fun. I have complied a list of some of our recent successful Amazon purchases.
What Everly Likes
The name of this suit is no lie, it is truly magic. This has helped my baby girl sleep almost through the night. She can now sleep almost 7 hours without waking up consistently in her crib. Check out my blog post on How the Merlin Magic Sleep Suit Saved My Sanity.
When I bought this teether, my baby was 2 1/2 months old. She couldn’t quite figure out how to get it in her mouth but she liked to hold on to it. Now, she does not let this thing go. She always has it in her hand and she is always chewing on the ears. It is great because she can either chew on the ears or suck on them like a pacifier. This purchase was definitely a win. We use this every day.
This activity center has saved my life. My baby likes to be entertained, she does not like to lay on the activity mat by herself because she gets bored quickly. However, she loves this activity center. I now get more time back in my day to do things that need to be done around the house. She can do a little bit of independent activity time in this and stay happy for a little while.
She sits in this while empty the dishwasher, eat breakfast, and work on my computer for a little each morning.
All Everly wanted to do before I purchased this was to have me hold her as she stood up and practice walking. This is great because now she can practice walking on her own. It also has a great tray for her toys to set on and the height is adjustable. I actually picked our up on Facebook Market Place. We got ours used for $40, but you can buy it new on Amazon.
Everly loves these rattles. The bright colors and patterns on the end catch her eye. She loves to hear the sound of the rattle and will follow the noise with her head. Not to mention these rattles are at a great price point.
This is technically a tummy time mat. However, Everly does not enjoy tummy time whatsoever, so we have turned this into a car activity mat. She used to scream when I put her in the car, now she seems entertained by this mat and does not seem to mind going for rides anymore.
I am not sure if Everly is teething yet, but she sure likes to put things in her mouth and chew on them. This is not the exact one we have, but it is close. I feel like she would like this one better because the wood rings are smaller and would be easier to fit into her mouth.
I love these bows. They are absolutely adorable. My baby is pretty small, so the bow looks huge on her head, making it all the more cute. These seem to be great quality. They are made out of nylon and have a cute textured pattern on them. I love these fall-inspired colors, but you could really wear them any time of year.
Sophie is another teething toy. Like I said above, I am not sure if Everly is teething or not, but she is constantly trying to put this in her mouth. It also squeaks which she likes. If you have a dog, be careful. My dogs seem to think this is their toy and get excited every time it comes out.
If you have a drooly baby, these are a must. The other day, I put Everly in a onesie, and less than 10 minutes later, her onesie was soaked in drool. These will keep you from having to change your baby’s outfit multiple times a day.
We have a small baby for her age, she is almost 4 months and is only a little over 11 pounds. She is very skinny and does not fit into most of her seats and play toys. Our friends had this and let us borrow it. This was a game-changer because now she can use her walker and Skip-Hop, without this she is too tiny for those things.
I hope you enjoyed this list of items my daughter loves at this stage in her life. If you have a 3 or 4-month-old, I hope that you found this helpful. As a first-time mom, I am always looking for things to entertain and help my baby grow and develop.
