Stocking Stuffers for your Baby’s First Christmas

I am beyond excited to celebrate Everly’s first Christmas this year. This is our first Christmas as a family of 3 (5 if you count the dogs). I have thought a lot about what I want our Christmas to look like this year. Check out my post How to Make Your Baby’s First Christmas Special. One thing I had a hard time deciding on was what to put in her stocking. After searching for stocking stuffers for our baby’s first Christmas, I have finally filled her stocking.

I decided to pack her stocking with things that we actually need, and things she would use every day. She just started eating solid foods not too long ago, so I wanted to make sure we had everything she needed for that. Here are some of the things we purchased for her stocking along with other ideas.

Stocking Stuffer Ideas

These stocking stuffers ideas for your baby’s first Christmas are items your baby will use on a daily basis.

Baby Tooth Brush – Our baby is 7 months and I have a feeling that teething is coming soon. We got her a toothbrush for her stocking. I know this is something we will need in the next few months. We like the Frida Baby Brand, so we just got one made by them.

Baby Hair Brush – We are still using the one we got from the hospital, and it is starting to break. We got the Frida Baby comb and brush.

Baby Spoons – These are actually called Pre-Spoons Gootensils. They are designed to promote self-feeding. They are made for stage 1 and stage 2 foods. Tare made to help your baby learn to self-feed. They are great because they

Silicone Bibs – Let’s face it, sometimes more food ends up on the floor and in your baby’s lap than actually ends up in their mouth. These bibs have a pocket to help catch food your baby drops while they are learning to eat. The silicone also makes for easy clean-up.

Baby Bowls/ Plates – This is something that we need but don’t have. I like the portioned-out plates to separate the food.

Transitional Sippy Cups- I like these munchkin cups because you are able to drink from 360 degrees around the cup, but they do not spill.

Hair Bows- I am currently obsessing over the turban bows. I didn’t know how adorable my baby looked in them until I bought some that were on sale at Marshall’s the other day. I have decided that we need a turban bow in every color.

Socks- The item I lose most often are my socks, I swear the dryer eats them. Now that baby socks are in the mix, it’s even worse. They are so small and fall off of our baby’s feet easily. Stocking up on socks is not a bad idea.

Warm Hat – I am a sucker for anything knit with ears. These hats are too cute to pass up. Check out these adorable winter hats I found on Amazon. They all come in multiple colors, and I thought the bottom hat was cute for little boys.

Cuddly Bear/Lovey – The softer the better. I try to stay away from ones with sown in eyes because I am afraid the eye is going to pop off and it is going to be a choking hazard. Our baby is at the stage where she loves a good stuffed bunny. I found this cute one on Amazon that has tons of 5-star reviews.

Teething Toys – I did not stuff Everly’s stocking with any teething toys because she has enough, but I have linked some of her favorites teething toys below.

Crinkle Books – These are a must for babies under the age of one. My baby loves a good crinkle book, they are great for car rides or tummy time.
