Working out can either be something you love or it can feel like a chore. I have experienced both stages before. When I first started working out, I was excited about the journey. But as time went on, it seemed harder and harder to stay motivated especially because it takes a while to see results. Now it is part of my weekly routine, and I cannot go without working out at least 2-3 times a week. With most of us stuck working out at home, I have created a list of Amazon products that will help you make the best of your at home gym.

It takes a few weeks to build a habit, but starting a healthy habit like working out is something you should certainly consider. Starting and sticking to a schedule will make it easier to form a habit that will last. Taking time to invest in your health now will keep you healthy for your future. I used to suffer from extreme back pain. Since I started my work out regimen, my back pain has completely disappeared.

I wanted to share with you some of my favorite fitness products that can help make your fitness journey a little easier. Here are some of my favorite Amazon must haves.

I usually buy running shoes because they are versatile. You can run and lift in them. But I have found that lifting shoes are hard to run in. Having quality gym shoes can definitely make working out easier. No one wants to work out while their feet are hurting. You will want to find gym shoes that are comfortable as well as supportive.

Water Bottle

It is important to stay hydrated while you are working out, and all throughout the day. Having a water bottle by your side constantly is key to living a healthy lifestyle.

Resistance Bands

I love resistance bands because they are so versatile and you can use them for so many different things. These are an essential for an at home gym.

If you like resistance band workouts, you should check out the long version as well. There are so many exercises you can do with these.

Stability Ball

This can be used for balance exercises, or you can swap out your desk chair (especially if you are working from home currently) with a ball. Sitting on a stability ball can help improve your posture and strengthen your core throughout the day.

Speaker/Head Phones

Music can set the tone for the whole workout. You want to make sure you have quality sound while working out to keep you motivated the entire workout. I like using a Bluetooth speaker while working out at home. I hook up my phone to play my Tabata App and Pandora for my HIIT or EMOM workouts.

Jump Rope

A jump rope works to many muscles, and give you cardio at the same time. Honestly, a jump rope is my most used and favorite fitness item. I was in the best shape of my life when I jumped rope multiple times a week.

There are multiple brands of jump ropes, I owned this one for 3 years and use it constantly. This is a great option for beginners.

I would recommend getting a lighter set ( 10-15 lbs.) and a heavier set (25-30 lbs.). Once again, there are so many workouts you can do with dumbbells, these are a must for strength training. If you are lucky, you can find someone selling these used nearby on Facebook market place.

Kettle Bell

Another at home gym staple is a kettle bell. This is another item your can use for multiple workouts.

BMI Scale

I am not one who would normally tell you to buy a scale. I think that they can be so deceiving. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are burning fat and gaining muscle, you are going to see the opposite effect on the scale.

I actually gained 20 pounds when I started my fitness journey because of this. It was extremely frustrating to not see the results you expect on the scale. However, I would focus more on BMI, body composition, and how you look. This scale can track your BMI, weight, and body composition, and has an app that tracks your body fat percentage and can help motivate you to reach your goals!
